Tasks

You’ll lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, identify value-engineering opportunities, manage risk, and ensure all information is in place for a seamless handover to the construction team. In this key role, you will ensure that design, planning, procurement, and commercial deliverables are completed to the highest standards, on schedule and within budget. -Drive lean design and value engineering initiatives to maximise project efficiency. -Facilitate a smooth transition from pre-construction to construction handover. -Oversee procurement schedules, tracking long-lead items and ensuring alignment with the construction programme. -Support tender proposals, providing technical input and risk assessments. -Develop and monitor design budgets and programmes, reporting progress and productivity weekly. -Lead the pre-construction phase of projects, coordinating all internal and external stakeholders. -Organise and chair design review workshops, ensuring timely closeout of all design comments and RFIs. -Ensure all project deliverables meet QA/QC and regulatory standards, including BCaR, DAC, Fire, and Planning requirements. -Manage and coordinate design development from Basis of Design through to IFC.

What You Bring

-Proficient in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD). -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Proven experience in pre-construction, design management, or technical coordination within a Design & Build environment. -Strong knowledge of construction methods, planning, and procurement processes. -Degree in Engineering or Architecture (or related discipline). -Experience working with pharma, data centre, or cleanroom projects is advantageous.
