Procurement & Invoicing Specialist

Overview

Manages procurement and delivery of electrical supplies/equipment for construction projects.

Tasks

-Facilitate final design review meeting with our clients end user and the engineering firms to assure that all specifications and data sheets are correct -Prequalify vendors by requesting the following: Statement of current financials, current list of customers, list of material suppliers and copies of last orders and payment, backlog of orders and fabrication schedules, and current employee staff including shop employees -Development of detailed RFQ’s that identify all requirements associated with each piece of equipment -Procure all equipment on either EIG purchase orders or as agent for our clients -Develop a detailed bid analysis including a bid breakdown and scope verification -Development of a sequence procurement plan that aligns with the project schedule

What You Bring

-Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems. -Ability to create and support team morale. -Excellent listening and strong communication skills. -Work scope requires complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting. -Ability to identify and resolve complex issues. -5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within EIG’s core markets. -Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar). -Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field. -MEP Procurement experience required.
