Full-time 2nd/3rd year apprentice welder for trenchless construction projects in Edmonton.

Tasks

-Report unsafe work conditions or procedures immediately -Promote and maintain a positive image with customers and the general public -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Maintain all equipment and tools used in accordance with safety guidelines -Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies -Perform welding-related tasks in the shop and on-site across various trenchless construction projects -Support positive team dynamics and contribute to job site efficiency

What You Bring

-Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Ability to work independently and follow directions -Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required -Strong communication and teamwork skills -Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions -Operate safely in physically demanding environments including tunnels and confined spaces -Physically able to work in demanding environments and confined spaces
