Provides comments and recommendations to bids, which includes likelihood of success, client history, timeline and recommendations for the Division Leadership.
Support development of social media and other marketing initiatives specific to the Quebec market working closely with Marketing team members.
Act as a “Subject Matter Expert” for the firm’s proposal process and tools while promoting best practices to team members and internal clients and providing mentorship internally.
Regularly monitor bid sites (i.e. MERX, Biddingo, etc.) to identify relevant opportunities and distribute information to appropriate internal stakeholders for Go/No-Go evaluation
Conducts research related to proposal preparation.
Leads the evaluation of which of their assigned projects to pursue, and then assists in strategizing and drafting the response.
Convert and integrate technical content provided by Operations and subject matter experts into cohesive, compelling, and well-written narratives to integrate into proposals and other collateral that is aligned with the firm’s unique value propositions and win themes.
Participates in proposal debriefings for continuous quality improvement processes.
Builds and maintains relationships within their peer group in our client organizations for existing and potential clients (i.e., proposal/marketing leads).
As part of the proposal preparation process, research relevant markets, sectors, competitors, and potential targets, with an ability to translate information into insight to fuel winning strategies and compelling and tailored narratives.
Works with stakeholders across the organization to produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing material in alignment with brand standards.
For opportunities that have been identified for pursuit, works with Business Development and Operations leads to create a list of targeted clients, assists with coordination of follow-up actions and monitors outcomes.
Ensures proposals are delivered to quality standards, and timelines are met.
Maintains resources such as proposal templates and related databases, the marketing library and information system, project documentation, and project sheets.
Acts as a back-up to Marketing team members as required.
Be the single point of contact to coordinate and deliver proposals including creation of proposal response plan, writing, review and approval, scheduling kick-off calls/planning meetings/reviews, entering and monitoring proposals statistics, coordinating requirements with contributors and transmitting proposals.

The ability to manage proposals and internal projects in a deadline-orientated environment.
Proficient in visual design and publishing using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A self-motivated team player with 5+ years of proposal experience, preferably within the professional services sector, with a preference for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC).
Ability to perform in a fast-paced/agile environment with competing priorities and capable of critical thinking and problem solving.
Strong computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
Strong communication and writing skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit content.
