Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Liaise closely with architects and other co-professionals at project inception to establish project briefs -Work with the client, project team and key stakeholders to assemble a design & specification compliant with requirements, agree its format and content, and monitor and review its preparation ensuring delivery by the due date -Help support your team members and take part in design reviews and staff development reviews -Assist in the project lifecycle documentation – QA, CDM, Archiving etc and coach more junior colleagues in their use.

What You Bring

-Experience in the production of clear and concise engineering deliverables -Excellent communication skills -Experience in the quality assurance of project deliverables including checking of calculations and drawings to generate high quality outputs. -A sound knowledge of structural engineering principles, the appropriate use of analytical techniques and design software, and the application of Eurocodes -Achieved, or are approaching, Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE / AIStructE / MICE), or have relevant equivalent experience
