Tasks

-Lead impactful sustainability initiatives across critical infrastructure projects -Mentor junior advisors and share knowledge across teams and business units. -Provide environmental planning support during early project phases and offer technical advice throughout delivery. C -Work across multiple sectors shaping Australia’s energy future -Liaise with regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders on environmental and sustainability matters. -Conduct audits, site inspections, and incident investigations to ensure compliance and resolve environmental issues. -Prepare and implement environmental management plans, risk/opportunity registers, inductions, and training materials. -Lead environment and sustainability input for bids, tenders, and major project design phases. -Influence project managers on effective environmental leadership and represent the company in industry forums.

What You Bring

-Strong experience as an environmental lead for major bids and tenders. -Education: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. -Leadership and mentoring capability within a professional team environment. -Proven ability to build relationships with regulators, clients, and internal stakeholders. -Skilled in preparing technical documentation, reports, and training materials. -Experience in environmental auditing, risk management, and incident investigation (ICAM preferred) -Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance requirements, and sustainability best practices
