Tasks

-Pushing: Occasional pushing of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs. -Reacting to system alarms and basic sanding procedures. -Identify parts from blueprints to verify that they are properly tagged. -Pulling: Occasional pulling of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs. -Hanging of parts weighing up to 200 lbs. on an overhead conveyor using material handling equipment. -Use simple measuring equipment such as tape measures.

What You Bring

-Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. -Other: Respirator certification required. -Walking: Occasional walking moderate distances (less than 1/8 mile). -Have the ability to learn proper grinding procedures to smooth welds and remove scratches from steel parts and enclosures. -A working knowledge of shop math. -Handling: Continuous handling of parts ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. -Have the ability to use simple material handling equipment such as powered walking stackers, storage trucks and pallet trucks. -Bending: Frequent bending and crouching to safely lift parts of various sizes and shapes. -Reaching: Continuous full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees. -Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures. -Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs. -The work in this area is physically demanding and requires the ability to sustain a continuous work pace for extended periods. -Standing: All tasks are performed in a standing position with intermittent walking. -High School diploma.
