Tasks

-Problem Solving & Innovation: Devise new approaches to technical problems -Inspections & Reporting: Review of relevant reports for third party testing and inspection agency. Periodic visual inspections of electrical systems, and instrumentation & controls systems -Project Oversight & Leadership: Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. Serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) to lead project success -Design & Planning: Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates. Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications

What You Bring

-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university -Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to com pany and client policies. -Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems -Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship. -Fieldwork & Implementation: Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up -Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work -Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams -Data Center or mission critical construction and inspection experience preferred -Collaboration & Coordination : Understand roles played by other disciplines and coordinate with them. Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from others -Minimum of 6 years of engineering design experience in data centers or similar -Professional Engineer preferred -Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites -Knowledge of data center MEP systems -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Proficient with Microsoft Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
