Tasks

Shape a future with purpose at Arup in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main or Munich. -Be leading our Energy infrastructure related activities in Germany and provide technical leadership to complex design projects with focus on power transmission networks,electricity interconnectors andgreen hydrogen. -Further develop and support our energy business offerings, provide technical leadership, proactively identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with local clients to secure a strong pipeline of work. -Contributing to the Advisory Services workstream but focusing on the growth and prospering of our Engineering Design Services. -Driving the continued growth and market recognition of the Arup Energy Business and Arup Brand in Germany and promoting knowledge sharing skills and expertise in Arup across Europe.

What You Bring

-Very good knowledge of the German energy market with focus on large utility companies and a strong network in the German energy market. -Ac as both, Bid Director during bid phase as well as Project Director during project delivery phase. -10+ years of experience leading project teams in the energy sector. -15+ years of experience developing and implementing energy design projects with a strong engineering background. -University degree in electrical engineering or other fields related to the energy sector. -Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
