The Role

Overview

Diagnose, repair, and maintain EV charging stations and related equipment.

Tasks

-Manage various testing requirements such as torque, thermal imagery, insulation (megger) and performance reports. -Perform upgrades and revisions as needed. -Troubleshoot various issues and repair them correctly and timely. -Perform Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) testing. -Locate system performance issues and fix ground faults. -Correctly review work orders, manuals, and drawings to correctly perform maintenance and service of equipment. -Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job. -May be temporarily assigned to other geographical area to provide support with new installations and upgrades. -Communicate with colleagues and customers regarding scheduling and to provide work status updates. -Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner. -Troubleshoot, inspect, replace/repair a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices such as cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, and point of sale equipment.

What You Bring

-Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently. -Experience with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) and alarm systems are a plus. -One+ year experience working in an electrical capacity or education. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Experience with EV Charging Stations or other power-related electronics is a plus. -Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols. -Electrical certifications or licenses a plus. -CPE250 Standalone, CPE250 Paired, CT4000, and the CPF50 training a plus! -Good driving record is required. -HSA and FSA -Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required. -Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
