Operate forklifts to manage, inspect, and move waste containers safely.

Tasks

-Run specified route driving a Forklift, APV, Tug, or other -Participate in spill response -Comply with safety policies and procedures -Respond to trouble calls -Operate forklift safely and effectively -Perform decontamination activities, such as cleaning the respirator -Operate power tools, lifts, and other equipment safely -Assist with non-hazardous waste as needed -Move full waste containers or those that have reached the regulatory -Inspect waste containers for proper labeling and regulatory -Stage and inventory waste containers throughout the facility -Ensure proper functioning of, clean, and maintain PPE -Manage waste in centralized storage area by segregating by waste -Record container into computer tracking system -Ensure the integrity of waste containers
