Tasks

The Assistant Superintendent will work with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of our ground-up multi-family projects. -Review all materials and finishes to ensure they match the approved submittals and are being installed per the manufacturer’s instructions. -Walk with 3rd party inspectors including Waterproofing, Green Building, and Geotech. -Maintain positive relationships with field crews and check-in with Foreman daily. -Manage Laborers and Carpenters to achieve programmed results. -Conduct Safety Orientation for all new subcontractors that begin work on the jobsite and issue a hard hat sticker. -Provide quality control and perform frequent inspections of all assigned construction activities. -Execute the punch list, turnover, and commissioning of the project as directed by the Lead Superintendent. -Assist the Lead Superintendent every week with updating the 3-week look ahead schedule.

This position will provide challenging opportunities to grow individually with an experienced construction team. -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PlanGrid experience is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. -Ability to forecast upcoming issues and resolve them in the field, involving the Lead Superintendent when needed. -3+ years’ experience in the construction industry (preferably Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality) -Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to travel to and from meetings, trainings, or other business-related events.
