Tasks
This pivotal position is responsible for leading the Quality Department in achieving operational excellence and strategic continuous quality improvement objectives. The Quality Manager assures consistent quality across our specialized product lines, including Telecommunication Shelters, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and modular Data Center PODs and Skids, by developing and enforcing quality manufacturing controls, validating processes, providing rigorous documentation, managing the Quality Engineering and QC Inspection staff, and driving supplier quality initiatives. -Assures the tests are performed in accordance with the Company's and Customer's standards and specifications. -The Quality Manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and QC Inspection staff to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. -Engage respectfully with coworkers, fostering teamwork and mutual respect. -This role is accountable for ensuring that all products meet or exceed internal and external quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. -Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. -Ensures that the Quality Manual is properly written and maintained. -A new section was added for Supplier Quality Management & Audits, formalizing the responsibility for qualifying, auditing, and managing critical component vendors. -Ensures that all new hires are properly trained, developed, and appraises staff effectively. Provides updated training as necessary. -Report for work on time and fulfill your shift responsibilities as planned. -Develops and maintains systems to establish standards related to Quality Control activities and products and measures performance against established standards. -Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QC Department and evaluate where continual improvements can be made. -Provides strategic and operational leadership for the Quality Department, overseeing all quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) functions across the organization’s integrated product lines, including: Telecommunication Shelters, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and Modular Data Center PODs and Skids -Guides employees engaged in measuring and testing the product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality, and reliability. -Maintains all project-related inspection documentation, and monitors adherence to standards and actively checks for accuracy of data received or generated before passing it on. -Oversees the training material is correct and in compliance. -Ensures that the Company and Employees maintain appropriate certifications. -The duties include providing technical direction and supervision to QC Inspection staff, ensuring consistency and adherence to high-reliability standards. -Effectively communicates and resolves issues arising out of the production processes, as related to quality, across all levels of the organization. -Reports changes in standards (both internally and externally initiated) and performance against standards. -Complete all responsibilities during your assigned shift as outlined in the schedule. -Promotes and acts upon employees' ideas for improvements in areas of quality, safety and work environment. -Coordinates special quality projects/studies as requested.

What You Bring
Education: Bachelor's or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified as a Certified Quality Engineer. -Must meet the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A for Level II Certification in the ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection methods and be familiar with non-destructive testing methods. -Must be familiar with a wide range of equipment and tools used in steel manufacturing, and have the ability to read and understand drawings, work orders, safety rules, and various manuals. -Ability to use hands and fingers to manipulate tools or equipment. -Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold. -The required compliance knowledge (e.g., technical specifications, structural/electrical codes) has been significantly strengthened to match the complexity of our integrated systems. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with ERP/MRP manufacturing software. -Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. -Minimum of 5 years of people management. (Required) -Must possess exceptional leadership, communication, written and verbal presentation, and team-building skills. At least 5 years of people management experience including strong competencies in talent identification and development, coaching and mentoring is required. -Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. -The role now requires approximately 10% travel to execute essential supplier audits and quality assurance activities. -Must have knowledge of the American Welding Society AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel. -Minimum of 5 years of successful quality management with strong backgrounds in modular construction or environments involving complex, integrated electrical/mechanical systems in addition to steel fabrication. -Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
