The Role
Overview
Assist the centre chef in preparing nutritious meals and supporting kitchen for children.

Tasks
-Ensure the highest level of food safety, by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards -Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators -Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children

What You Bring
-A current Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain upon commencement) -A current State relevant Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain upon commencement) -Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age -Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or have the willingness to obtain) -Availability to work 20 hours per week -Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen to run smoothly each day. -Current Child Protection Training (or have the willingness to obtain) -The willingness to step up into the Chef’s role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
