The Role

Overview

Oversee and maintain construction equipment, repairs, fueling and safety for solar projects.

Tasks

-Deliver utilization reports to senior leadership, including weekly summaries. -Partners with Fleet in activation and deactivation of fuel cards for all rental equipment. -Prepares and maintains extensive spreadsheets, documents, and request trackers on internal systems. -Provide comprehensive support to construction operations on-project to maximize equipment use and minimize costs. -In collaboration with the F&E managers, coordinate project mechanics, both internal resources and 3rd party. -Implement and oversee a preventative and predictive maintenance program on-project, monitoring repair execution. -Promote and lead by example to maintain the highest standards of safety. -Directly coordinate with local vendors to facilitate 3rd party repairs and services to support the project execution team. -Perform inbound equipment receiving and inspection on newly mobilized assets and rentals, and outbound equipment inspections on returning assets and rentals, including fleet vehicles. Notification of damages. -Climb: occasionally ascends/descends on site equipment as needed for inspection, maintenance, or repair. -Address urgent equipment needsofthe construction operations. -Providedetailon invoices to specific site for payment of fuel, rent, and lease. -Distribute registrations and insurance card updates for all equipment. -Complies withEmployee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. -Collaborates with Risk Management regarding COI’s, equipment loss, or recordable damages. -Responsible for labeling all project equipment and fleet as identifiers are provided by F&E managers. -Lead the implementation of safety programs, participate in accident reviews, and ensure fleet compliance with regulations. -Maintain an up-to-date list of project equipment and vehicles, overseeing utilization and scheduling replacements and repairs. -Coordinates with approved vendors to obtain quotes. -Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 50 pounds -Directly manage project fueling process and control.

-Variousnoiselevelscausedbytools,machinery,equipment, etc. -Thejobrequiresstanding,walking,usingtools, andclimbingorbalancingaspartofthedailytasks. -Willing to travel up to 100% -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook. -Capability to interact with leadership cross-culturally, both within and outside the organization. -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position. -A minimum of2 years of construction experience, with a strong preference for experience in Solar or related industries. -Excessivehumidity, rain, etc. -Experience with database systems and fleet and equipment management software. -Experience withmachine automation (GNSS Automation) -Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far -Mustwearappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)includinghardhats,safetyglasses, andfire-retardantclothing. -Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. -Regular attendance, in accordance withcompany'sattendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
