Overview

Coordinate quality improvement activities, enforce SOPs, monitor logs, test samples, and train staff.

Tasks

-Coordinate and manage monthly activities related to quality improvement as outlined in the department calendar. -Conduct scheduled performance testing samples in the spring and fall, distributing these samples to various departments and the oversight body for state reporting. -Assist with onboarding and basic training for new employees, focusing on quality assurance and environmental services. -Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed. -Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs.

What You Bring

-1.5+ years experience in an environmental lab with exposure to quality assurance -Familiarity with The NELAC Institute (TNI) standards -Proficiency in quality control and chemistry -Knowledge of ISO standards -Experience with batch records and EPA standards -A degree in Sciences
