Tasks
-Providing professional services to clients in Ireland/UK and overseas -Providing HV design input to renewable energy projects e.g., Battery storage, Solar, Hydro and Wind generation -Providing engineering design input to major infrastructure projects -Creating equipment specifications for HV Plant and associated equipment -Developing primary plant layouts for HV substations

What You Bring
-Experience in reviewing review detailed designs & witnessing construction site activities. -Full driving License with access to a car as site visits will be required -Experience as a Designer or as a Project Engineer -Experience of working with major utilities or developers -Experience of working on multi-discipline engineering projects -Chartered accreditation or working toward status -A Degree in Electrical Engineering -Experience of working on HV projects -Candidates without specific HV experience that can demonstrate competency for the key skills required for the role will also be considered -Fluency in English -Consultancy experience -Experience of developing specifications for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear. -Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects.
