Tasks

-Assist in the development of the internal audit plan, including the internal audit universe, preparing resourcing requirements and scheduling audits -Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times and observing the confidential nature of Internal Audit's work. -Execution of testing and workpaper preparation and/or review -Report preparation and/or review -Write clear and concise reports for use by key stakeholders and recommend practical control improvements that add value -Planning of audits including creation of a risk and control matrix -Production of management information and other reporting as appropriate -Carry out ad hoc tasks and special investigations as required. -Provision of technical advice to the Executive team and extended management -Identification of risks/audit issues -Overseeing audits being performed, coordinating and overseeing certain internal audit work performed by third party providers -Perform, participate in, and/or manage audit assignments including responsibility for:

What You Bring

-Data Analytical experience is a distinct advantage. -Member of a recognised Accounting Body or a qualified Internal Auditor with a minimum of 5 years Internal Audit experience in planning, coordinating and delivering internal audit plans. -Highly developed knowledge and proficiency in risk management principles and processes. -Experience interacting with Committee, Executive and Senior Management. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships. -Excellent attention to detail. -Experience with EirGrid plc’s regulatory environment would be of an advantage -Strong knowledge of current internal audit standards
