Tasks

-Field testing of asphalt and stone base course materials. -Hand auger and DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetration) testing of the suitability of bearing materials. -Lab testing to perform proctor testing. -Field testing responsibilities including the testing of soils and concrete for conformance with plans and specifications.

What You Bring

-Observation of pipe installation and fill placement per standard construction practices and methods. -ACI and Troxler Certification a plus. -Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. -Ability to lift 50lbs. -Ability to work with other Atlas staff and contractors required. -ICC Certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred. -Valid Driver's License and able to pass MVR. -Willingness to travel to out of town jobs 50%. -High School Diploma or GED. -Ability to pass background check. -Ability to be outdoors or on your feet for an extended period of time -Willingness to travel to out-of-town jobs.
