Tasks

-Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents. -Provides technical and design services in support of power distribution, lighting, equipment layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and electrical system topology for design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team. -Participates in project meetings, both internal and client-facing, and on-site evaluations of building conditions -Coordinates with contractor teams and reviews equipment and material submittals during construction to ensure the constructed building complies with design documents. -Conducts technical evaluations of electrical equipment/systems and prepare design calculations and assessments. -Completes design tasks with consideration to project budgets and deadlines. -Prepares design computations and assessments to validate design decisions. -Communicates and coordinates technical evaluations, project reports and correspondence with the project team to complete work efficiently.

What You Bring

-Ability to accommodate varying project demands; -Organized and proactive approach to completing projects; -Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution - Power Distribution focus preferred; -Solid communicator, able to take and understand directives from Project Manager and coordinate efforts with design team; -Completion of, or plan to complete, the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. -Strong writing and verbal skills; -Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills; -Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations.
