Tasks
-Communicate with clients to understand project requirements. -Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons. -Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes. -Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications. -Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements. -Assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.

Candidates for the Structural Engineer position should have experience in medium to large-size projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, health care, research facility design, and tenant renovation work preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment. -Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally. -Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture. Master’s degree preferred.
