Tasks

The incumbent will lead the development of long-term LNG demand opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing LNG offtake agreements with utilities, industrials, and emerging players. This role requires a deep understanding of global LNG markets, advance commercial structuring expertise, connections with existing buyers, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with LNG customers. -Work closely with LNG supply team to structure suitable terms -Explore and develop contract structures to meet evolving customer needs, including designing commercial framework that balances flexibility, price competitiveness and risk management -Support investment committees and management, and board level discussions with detailed market insights and commercial recommendations -Work closely with legal, finance, risk and commercial operations teams to ensure robust agreements -Identify, pursue, and secure mid to long-term LNG offtake agreements with prospective Asian and/or European buyers -Provide input to internal strategy teams on LNG market evolution and demand side dynamics -Assess insights into competitor offerings, policy developments and customer procurement strategies -Monitor LNG demand trends across Asia, Europe and emerging markets to identify new offtake opportunities -Cultivate long-term relationships with large utilities, industrials, and distribution companies, government stakeholders, to position the company as a reliable LNG partner -Lead negotiations of mid to long term LNG supply agreements, focusing on downstream LNG consumption

What You Bring

LNG origination and Business Development. -Established network among LNG buyers -Self-starter and result-oriented with drive -Demonstrated success in securing long-term LNG agreements -Ability to build effective business relationships with business partners -At least 5 years of experience in LNG origination. -Proven ability to manage complex negotiations with senior counterparties, and strong grasp of LNG pricing structures, contract mechanisms. -Good knowledge of LNG market, LNG liquefaction, shipping and receiving terminal operations a plus. -Strong organizational and time management skills -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
