Assist engineering team on transmission and distribution projects as an intern.

Tasks
-Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs. -Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data. -Be involved in power designs and the preparation of documents and specifications for the procurement of major equipment, structures, and related installation services.

What You Bring
-Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction. -Prior, related internship or co-op experience in our business area. -Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred. -Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines. -FSA & HSA -Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. -Active enrollment in a BS or MS ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program. -Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 and a strong academic background. -Candidates pursuing other engineering degrees may also be considered if they have relevant coursework in civil, geotechnical, strength of materials, statics, or electrical power. -Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
