Tasks

-Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect the property to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. -Emergency Support: Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies to ensure 24/7 support for residents. -Collaboration: Work closely with the on-site management team to maintain the property’s condition and assist with larger maintenance projects as needed. -Maintenance & Repairs: Perform timely and efficient maintenance of residential units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry. -Service Requests: Respond promptly to work orders from residents and resolve issues to ensure resident satisfaction. -Safety & Compliance: Ensure the property complies with safety standards by performing routine safety checks and maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.

What You Bring

-A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for the purpose of on-call emergencies. -High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. -Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. -Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment. -EPA and CPO certification preferred. -2+ years of experience in apartment maintenance or a similar role. -Must be willing to perform additional duties such as snow removal, and unit touch ups. -Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
