Tasks

What You Bring

Previous experience in general maintenance or building services, ideally in a commercial or educational setting A full UK driving licence Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach Basic trade skills in one or more areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general fabric maintenance Equans is looking for a reliable and skilled Handyperson (Maintenance Operative) to join our on-site Facilities Management team at a secondary school in Barking. You'll play a key role in keeping the school safe, operational, and well-maintained, helping to create a better environment for staff and students alike. A practical mindset and willingness to learn on the job Able to pass an enhanced DBS check (required due to school environment) Please note: You must have the right to work in the UK to apply. Some roles may require a Disclosure (DBS) check.
