ary:We are seeking a Jr. Network Administrator to provide a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the organization’s desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. To troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where requi -eded.Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service le -ment.Accurately documents instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal. If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment ven -ucts.Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding desktop prob -vels.Collaborates with LAN technicians/network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environ -ment.Administers and resolves issues associated with the workstation software prod -gers.Ensures that physical desktop connections (i.e., RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working o -ties:Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, recommends and implements corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as ne -rder.Assist the network administrator in maintaining an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equip -tems.Assists the network administrator in performing and maintaining electronic back-ups systematically of the end-user desktop and timely updates to the computer’s security soft -lems.Assist in performing moves, adds, and changes (MAC) requests as they are submitted by line mana
