The Role

Overview

Estimate and manage costs for a large-scale pharma construction project in Lebanon, IN.

Tasks

-Support cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis. -Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost data, while maintaining cost databases and historical benchmarks. -Provide support during procurement and bid evaluation phases. -Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to track budgets, forecast costs, and manage change orders. -Monitor project progress and advise on financial risks or deviations from budget. -Analyze vendor/subcontractor proposals and integrate into total project cost models. -Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for all phases of the project (conceptual to final).

What You Bring

-Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences facility construction. -Experience with industrial piping/take-offs -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred. -Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, procurement, and scheduling integration. -5+ years of cost engineering or estimating experience in industrial or pharmaceutical construction. -Experience on FDA-regulated or GMP-compliant projects. -Proficient in cost management tools such as EcoSys, Sage, RSMeans, or Excel-based models. -Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project structures. -Previous experience supporting large-scale, capital-intensive construction projects.
