The Role

Overview

Operate jet vac trucks to install underground utilities and perform trenchless projects.

Tasks

-Determine the best way to tackle each project, whether it’s handling sewer systems, storm drains, water mains, or force mains (excavation may include high water environments). -Operate excavator equipment while prioritizing safety and effectiveness. -Perform thorough check-ups and safety sweeps of equipment, notifying the supervisor of any equipment concerns. -Keep an eye on every step of the operation to maintain our high standards of quality and safety. -Follow the lead of your Foreman and Superintendent, using your assigned equipment to tackle tasks efficiently. -Keep the lines of communication open and clear with your crew and supervisors. -Become a pro at setting up different trench shoring systems, adding your touch of expertise to every project.

What You Bring

-Comfortable working in outside weather conditions at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and moderate noise levels. -Physical Demands: Regularly lift, push, pull and move up to 75 pounds. Use pneumatic, battery powered or electric tools. Must have ability to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces. -Minimum of two years’ experience in trenchless installation, including Vac Truck operation. -A valid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle report is required; CDL license is a plus.
