-Provides direction and oversight of project EHS team -Supports and leads by influence and strategic partnership with project and construction team on assigned site -Supports the maintenance and implementation of EHS programs, compliance plans, and initiatives on assigned site -Keeps safety credentials current -Leads EHS functions on a project site

What You Bring

-Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy -Knowledge of record-keeping principles and practices -Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team with attention to detail and organizational abilities -Ability to prioritize, delegate, and complete multiple tasks -Must have knowledge of DOT/DOL/EPA regulation and OSHA/industrial safety compliance as they relate to the power generation industry -Demonstrated ability to evaluate potential EHS-related risks -Ability to maintain confidentiality -Demonstrated ability to use standard office software programs, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, etc. -Effective organization and planning skills -STS, CHST/OHST, ASP, CSP, or other recognized professional safety certification Skills/Abilities -Ability to safely drive a company vehicle. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record -Associates or BS in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) or greater than 5 years of leadership experience in a related field -Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures -Demonstrated ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risks
