Overview

Acquire land/easements and handle claim settlement and relocations for DOT projects.

Tasks

-Responsible for claim settlement where client’s activities incur damage to property -Prepares document necessary to negotiate and option the proposed ROW -You will meet with property owners to make offers, prepare and document paperwork and activities, and report to supervisor regularly

What You Bring

-Strong communications and social skills -Is knowledgeable in title reports, appraisals, and basic ROW/roadway plans -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines. -Experience with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer knowledge -Ability to travel to OH to meet with property owners -Valid driver’s license. -A minimum of one year real estate and/or engineering experience -A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
