Tasks
-Communicating client needs and trends to cross-functional teams for product enhancements and strategic planning. -As a Technical Sales and Support Engineer, you will serve as a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams—delivering expert guidance, troubleshooting process challenges, and identifying opportunities to enhance hydrogen peroxide applications. With approximately 70% of your time dedicated to technical support, you'll lead field trials, analyze performance data, and provide practical solutions tailored to mining and water treatment environments. The remaining 30% of your role will focus on sales enablement: contributing technical insights to business proposals, identifying growth opportunities, and helping clients adopt innovative technologies that drive safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. -Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities, support proposal development, and enable technical selling. -Delivering targeted technical training and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders. -Designing, executing, and analyzing field trials to validate product efficacy and deliver actionable insights for process improvement. -Leading technical consultations, troubleshooting, and field support to ensure safe and optimal deployment of hydrogen peroxide systems.

-Client Relationship Management & Communication: Effectively building relationships and conveying technical information. -Data-Driven Decision Making: Relying on data and analysis to inform recommendations and solutions, ensuring objective and effective outcomes. Continuous Learning and Adaptability: Staying current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices, and adapting quickly to changing client needs and market conditions. -Field Trial Design and Execution: Ability to design, set up, and execute field trials safely, including data collection and analysis, to demonstrate product efficacy and optimize applications -Relevant work experience of more than 3 years of work experience in the chemical industry, exposure to the mining industry is preferred . -Safety Consciousness: Prioritizing safety in all aspects of work, particularly when handling hazardous materials and conducting field trials. Collaborative Communication: Actively listening and sharing information effectively with clients and internal teams to build strong relationships and ensure alignment. -Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrating initiative to anticipate and address technical challenges, rather than simply reacting to them. -Technical Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to diagnose issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions. -We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model based in Sydney. Expectation would be to be at the Banksmeadow manufacturing site a minimum of 2 days every week. You must be able to travel up to 30% of your time. -Hydrogen Peroxide Application Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the product and its use. Mining Industry Knowledge: Understanding the specific processes and challenges of the mining sector. -Relevant education degree or equivalent in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science (Chemistry or Metallurgy).
