Header Combination A Welder - Weekend Night Shift

Overview

Weld metal parts using MIG/TIG/Stick, interpret drawings, and fabricate/repair header assemblies.

Tasks

-Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager. -Weld metal parts together using mig, tig, and stick welding or any combination using both arc welding processes to fabricate or repair headers or header subassemblies. -Position pieces with overhead or jib cranes. -Removes metal with carbon arc gouging equipment and/or plasma gouging equipment -Repair broken or cracked parts and fills holes.

What You Bring

-You have a high School Diploma or equivalent. -Ability to operate pneumatic or electric grinders -Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. -You can pass the American Society of Mechanical Engineering 2G GTAW Open Root with SMAW Fill and Cap Plate Test. -Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime. -Ability to understand and interpret drawings, weld symbols and weld procedures -Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
