Tasks

-Prepare and present clear, comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation to support project delivery. -Oversee the detailed design, contract procurement, and construction phases of flood relief schemes, ensuring successful project outcomes. -Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality standards, maintaining full compliance with client and regulatory requirements. -Ensure strict adherence to health & safety, environmental, and engineering standards throughout all project stages. -Work closely with internal multidisciplinary teams, local authorities, stakeholders, and contractors to drive effective communication and project integration.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of relevant legislation, planning processes, and environmental regulations. -Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. -Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable. -Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, QGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D). -Experience in flood risk management, or drainage design, or water infrastructure projects. -Driving licence. -Minimum of 7 years’ experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in project management. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
