Tasks

The role drives the design vision for multiple mid size or complex architectural projects. You lead concept creation, guide schematic and design development phases, and ensure the work aligns with client agreements, budgets, timelines, and quality standards. You collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Architect and carry responsibility for design direction, project performance, and communication. You supervise design teams and keep deadlines under control. You manage and mentor a design team, set priorities across several live projects, and maintain continuity from early concepts through delivery. You steer problem solving, oversee all documentation standards, handle client reviews, present design work, and support business development when needed. You also set expectations for professional conduct, team culture, and sustainable work practices.

What You Bring

You bring at least 15 years of design experience on mid size or large projects. You can sketch confidently and present design ideas clearly. You communicate clearly in writing and in person. You manage clients well and handle negotiations when needed. You work fluently with Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and SketchUp. Success requires strong client relationships, consistent delivery of high standard design outcomes, and dependable leadership across disciplines. You bring more than 15 years of experience, a strong portfolio of mid size to large projects including urban and resort hotels, advanced software and hand sketching skills, and the ability to coordinate teams, negotiate with clients, and manage competing priorities. You hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
