IT Systems Engineer

Manage and secure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related IT systems.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements -Maintain up to date security which includes patching vulnerabilities by deploying patches or making configuration changes -Assist in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune -Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Windows Server infrastructure and M365 -Maintain documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures -Administer and maintain Active Directory, In-Tune, Patch My PC, Rapid7, SonicWall Firewalls, Bitdefender AV, Mimecast and KnowBe4 -Improve and maintain security policies for identity and access management across hybrid environments -Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as needed -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise applications and integrations -Manage and improve EBI security which includes managing Microsoft, Rapid7 and Mimecast

What You Bring

-Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud) -Proven experience as a Domain Administrator in enterprise environments -Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting -Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) preferred -Experience with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Modern Malware Protections preferred -Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices -Familiar with NIST and implementing security best practices -Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions preferred -Excellent problem-solving and communication skills -Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Rapid7 administration and configuration -Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300) preferred -5+ years of experience in systems engineering and managing SaaS applications
