Tasks

As the Lead Designer for assigned Partner Stores, the consultant will manage customer journeys end-to-end — from the first meeting to design finalization and push to production. The role also serves as a process and training anchor, showcasing how design operations should function as per HomeLane’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while enabling Dealer Designers to replicate the same standards at their stores. The Design Desk Consultant (FOFO) plays a pivotal role in empowering HomeLane’s Partner Stores under the FOFO (Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated) model, ensuring they are fully equipped for success in their operations. -Act as the Lead Designer for Partner Stores and handle their customers as the primary design stakeholder throughout the project lifecycle — from initial consultation to design handover and production. -Monitor key performance indicators such as sales conversion, project TAT, and customer satisfaction. -Ensure proposed designs are practical for on-site implementation with minimal installation challenges. -Empower Partner Stores by demonstrating the design flow and operational best practices of the HomeLane Design Desk as per SOP. -Collaborate directly with customers to understand their requirements and deliver optimal design solutions — including conceptual design, detailed drawings, quotations, and production-ready documentation. -Manage and prioritize multiple design projects across 5–6 Partner Stores simultaneously. -Train, mentor, and support Dealer Designers both on-ground and virtually to ensure consistent design quality, process adherence, and customer experience. -Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams (Sales, Design, Operations, and Production) to ensure smooth resource management and timely project delivery.
