Tasks

-Ensure implementation of project specific work plans -Responsible for getting job completed in a safe and efficient manner -Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors -Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner -Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials -Manage crew’s labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets -Coordinating onsite work & scheduling of work to meet budgets -Conducts daily safety meetings, daily safety/health inspections, and mishap investigations and maintains OSHA logs -Complete daily field reports

What You Bring

-Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements -Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States -Ability to manage budgets and schedules -Experience and working knowledge of mapping out multi phased excavations, backfill/compaction and staying on top of any groundwater collection -Experience with Demolition & Asbestos Abatement preferred -Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds -Torch cutting and Rigging experience preferred, but not required -Experience with DOD, including USACE, NAVFAC, USAF or USCG required -Strong working knowledge and experience with Heavy Civil projects preferred -A valid driver’s license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy -Ability to read blueprints and drawings -Minimum of 6 years related field related experience -Ability to manage and direct multiple crews with multiple pieces of heavy equipment -Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required -OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
