Tasks
The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the construction of photovoltaic (PV) plants. This role will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the project quality management system, in alignment with company procedures and client requirements. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all construction activities meet contractual, technical, and regulatory standards. -Prepare and issue weekly Quality Reports summarizing key findings, issues, lessons learned, and updates on work protocols. -Develop and promote a recognizable and reliable quality model that enhances the company’s reputation with clients and partners. -Perform physical inspections of works, materials, and tools to ensure compliance with approved work procedures and instructions. -Conduct inspections and verifications of tools, materials, and construction processes prior to, during, and after work execution. -Maintain direct communication with the client’s Quality Manager to ensure transparency and alignment with client standards. -Supervise client material control, reporting deviations, rejections, and any quality-related issues. -Analyze significant quality incidents and develop corrective and preventive actions. -Conduct internal and intermediate (non-regulated) audits, issue weekly reports on non-conformities, and monitor the quantity of releases and quality records. -Track and compile the complete Quality Dossier for client submission. -Define and manage the required documentation index for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and O&M phases, ensuring full compliance for MCC, PAC, and FAC handovers. -Participate in project kick-off meetings with internal teams and subcontractors to explain and enforce quality procedures and work protocols. -Manage the pre-punch and punch list processes prior to COD (Commercial Operation Date), ensuring timely closure and documentation of all items. -Implement and maintain a unified Quality Management Procedure across all project sites, including checklists, PPI, hold points, and task-specific quality controls.

What You Bring
Certifications (preferred) -+5 years of experience in Quality Control of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering. -Solid knowledge of QA/QC processes, audits, inspections, and documentation. -Ability to travel frequently to project sites across the United States. -OSHA Construction Safety certification. -Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical reports and documentation. -+5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the renewable energy or construction industry, preferably solar PV. -Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability. -Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and internal teams. -Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards applicable to large-scale solar projects. -Bilingual (English and Spanish). -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field. -ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent QA/QC certification. -Experience working with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary project teams.
