The Role

Overview

Develop and execute electronics test procedures, EMC compliance, debug hardware/firmware.

Tasks

-Develop and execute test procedures and plans on electronics. -Work with power supplies, transformers, and high voltage electronics (120 and 240 VAC). -Conduct electrical testing in compliance with IEC-6100 series of EMC tests. -Debug hardware and firmware components. -Select components and use schematics and layout tools for debugging. -Assemble prototypes and engineering tools.

What You Bring

-Experience in a regulated testing environment and validation. -Experience with EMC testing and agency certifications. -4 years of experience in an electronics testing environment. -Exposure to programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.). -Familiarity with agency certifications like UL, TUV, etc. -Experience with functional safety testing, such as IEC-6100. -Experience with automation tools such as LabView or similar. -Familiarity with controls and motor loads is a plus. -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. -Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and thermal chambers. -Execute tests in a regulated environment, with UL/Safety products experience preferred.
