Tasks

-Prepare and manage tenders, estimates and quotations -Source and appoint subcontractors -Conduct monthly valuations, cost reporting and contract reviews with the Finance Manager -Support high-volume tender periods (notably Feb–March) -Oversee commercial duties from tender award to final account -Build strong relationships with clients and identify new opportunities

They are looking for an energetic and proactive Quantity Surveyor to take on a varied commercial role. This position is ideal for someone with a civils/groundworks background who has experience working in smaller, hands-on environments. You’ll be involved across the full commercial process—from tendering and estimating through to valuations, contract management and final accounts. -Full UK driving licence -HND/HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field -Confident working independently and taking commercial ownership -Experience across both QS and estimating functions -Strong civils/groundworks background -Strong communication, commercial awareness and attention to detail
