Run hydraulic tests, develop LabVIEW/PLC systems, support aerospace component testing.
-Execute and troubleshoot hydraulic test cell operations for aircraft components, ensuring accurate calibration and performance validation. -Develop and maintain test instrumentation using LabVIEW and PLC programming to enable automated data acquisition and control systems. -Collaborate with Design Engineers to fabricate custom test stands and fixtures in alignment with Component Maintenance Manual specifications. -Apply reverse engineering techniques to resolve complex component testing challenges and support new product introductions. -Ensure precise calibration of flow, pressure, RPM, thermal, and vibration sensors using standard units of measurement.
-Experience with hand tools and precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. -Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, schematics, and CAD design (SolidWorks). -Ability to interpret hydraulic component drawings and technical publications. -Skilled in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel functions. -Proficiency in LabVIEW, PLC programming, and electrical schematics. -Capability of presenting technical information clearly and meeting deadlines set by engineering leadership. -Awareness of FAA CFR145 Repair Station Guidelines. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering. -Familiarity with 3D scanning and coordinate measuring equipment for reverse engineering. -Competence in fluid mechanics, statistical analysis, and geometric principles.
