Tasks

-Ensure data quality and perform data cleaning as needed -Assist in data strategy efforts, including updating data flowcharts -Assist in analyzing historical construction data and improving data quality where needed -Extract, transform, and load data from diverse data sources for data analysis and reporting used -Support data science efforts by identifying machine learning and Python automation opportunities, sourcing and preparing data, and developing models and workflows for construction activities

-Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude -You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business Analysis, Computer Science, or related discipline. -Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships Exemplify the Ideal Team Player – Hungry, Humble, Smart Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills -You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently -Experience creating and maintaining reports, and dashboards in Power BI an asset -Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries -Complete data related courses -All applications must include a current transcript -If you are selected for a role with client specific requirements, you may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug testing.
