Tasks

-Maintain, fault-find, and repair PLC-controlled systems, drives, motors, sensors, and electrical control panels. -Support with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and site upgrades. -Ensure all maintenance work is accurately documented and compliant with site standards. -Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of production machinery and automated systems. -Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency. -Work collaboratively with operations and engineering teams to optimise production efficiency and identify root causes of equipment issues. -Take the lead on continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reliability, safety, and performance.

What You Bring

-Time-served engineer with a recognised electrical qualification (HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent). -Previous experience in a manufacturing or automated production setting would be advantageous. -Stable shift pattern (no weekend rotation) -You have a strong electrical bias, with sound knowledge of mechanical systems. -Confident in electrical fault-finding, interpreting schematics, and working with PLCs, drives, and control systems. -Proactive and self-motivated, with a track record of improving reliability and reducing downtime. -Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
