Tasks

As an ICA Reliability Engineer, within the Asset Health & Performance Team, you will help to develop and monitor processes that provide asset performance information over the respective life cycle of the assets. The performance information is vital to show that our assets are reliable, show resilience and provide sustainability. We can then show, with confidence, that we can comply with our customer and stakeholder expectations. As an ICA Reliability Engineer, within the Asset Health & Performance Team, you will be knowledgeable on ICA assets and how they operate / function. You will be part of a Team that develops and monitors processes that provide asset performance information over the respective life cycle of the assets. As the ICA Reliability Engineer you will assist in implementing robust improvement measures based on the performance measures of the assets being monitored. -Monitor and report on the effectiveness of ICA assets. -with stakeholders to ensure the recommendations are implemented in a timely and safe manner -Be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising asset specific ICA equipment monitoring measures. -Develop, implement, and maintain key reliability improvement processes across the YW ICA assets base. -Main function will be reviewing ICA assets performance and reliability data to identify critical assets/risks to the Business and instigate RCA’s for short, medium, and long-term issue resolution. with stakeholders to ensure the recommendations are implemented in a timely and safe manner -Be responsible for proposing improvements to ICA asset performance and resilience. This will entail collaboration with other Teams within Asset Delivery. -Review operational events where ICA issues may have affected the outputs when compared to be desired operating parameters. -Provide documented evidence of improvements and savings and highlighting risk to the Business. -Follow the asset technical practices and standards in line with requirements as defined by the YW Principal ICA Engineer.

What You Bring

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, conducted through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance. If you are an experienced ICA Reliability Engineer professional and want to help us deliver exceptional service for our customers whilst protecting the environment, then apply today to find out what a career with Yorkshire Water can offer for you. -An understanding/awareness of condition monitoring techniques -Extensive experience of SAP S4 CMMS -Significant knowledge and application of reliability improvement techniques and practices -Current valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Yorkshire region. -Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels and departments within the organisation. -Ability to Integrate PLCs for faults. -An Engineering Degree / HND with relevant ICA maintenance experience (ideally apprentice trained) -Broad experience with ICA equipment maintenance -Experience of supporting and embedding change -Water Industry experience -Electrically qualified for safe access into control panels -Proficiency in excel / Power Bi / Pivot Tables
