Tasks

Review certification audit and inspection reports, recommend process improvements, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with environmental permitting teams to maintain technical consistency across federal and state permits. Coordinate document reviews and on-site inspections with the CVA for each work package. Certification and Regulatory Compliance will support all aspects of project certification and regulatory compliance for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project. This role ensures compliance with international standards and federal regulations, oversees technical documentation, and coordinates across multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and timely project execution. Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements and certification standards. Oversee development, submission, and federal agency review of the facility as-builts, critical safety systems and equipment commissioning, and Fabrication and Installation report according to 30 CFR Part 285 regulations. Support the commercial contract management of the Certified Verification Agent (CVA) for design, fabrication, transportation, and installation activities. Coordinate certification processes for offshore assets including export cables, array cables, offshore substations, foundations, and wind turbine generators Review schedules to determine permitting critical paths and work with stakeholders for on-time submissions.

What You Bring

Experience in offshore renewable energy projects and certification processes Strong problem-solving skills Possess leadership skills with a project team or multiple teams No. PMP and/or PE is a plus. GWO is not required. TWIC card is preferred but not required. Bachelors in project or construction management, engineering, or related fields. Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education Energy production/transmission industry experience preferred Preferred candidate will be in the office in Richmond, VA. There is flexibility and a potential for some remote work depending on the candidate Ability to resolve technical problems Strong knowledge of 30 CFR Part 285 regulations Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management Ability to collaborate with multiple entities: internal and external Proficient in document control systems and project scheduling tools Bachelor of science in project or construction management, engineering, or related fields. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules
