The Role

Overview

Create and draft civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Tasks

-Prepare project exhibits. -Prepare CAD files for authorized media release to external parties / agencies. -Coordinates details and dimensions between drawing sheets. -Work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays and isometric drawings including digital terrain models and surfaces. -Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion. -Assist in the preparation of plans by analyzing sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.

What You Bring

-Conform to the company’s standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. -Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other related software. -Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge, and acumen (i.e., familiarity with Microsoft Office, etc.). -Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. -1-2+ years of relevant experience. -Address assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency is increased. -High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
