Tasks

-Develop and update compliance and ethics policies and procedures. -Review trade sanctions and adverse media alerts. -Lead investigations and monitor resulting remediation actions. -Drive collaboration and build relationships between the risk, compliance, and ethics team and various stakeholders within Bloom Energy and serve as a champion of the compliance and ethics program. -Support compliance with global privacy statutes and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA, etc. -Work cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Installation Group, Service, Products, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders. -Contribute to the improvement of the risk, compliance and ethics function. -Lead the third party risk management program. -Review policy exceptions and approval requests. -Maintain regulatory obligations matrices. -Drive timely and effective execution of compliance and regulatory risk assessments. -Conduct monitoring and testing activities. -Participate in special projects and broad company initiatives. -Support the development and execution of compliance-related training and communication programs.

-Respectful, open, collaborative, and transparent inter-personal skills; team-work oriented -Strong Microsoft Office skills -Ability to provide high-quality work in a timely manner -In-depth knowledge of the DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs and global third party risk management experience required -Strong project management skills -Cybersecurity knowledge and experience preferred -Enjoys problem-solving and developing new processes -Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment -JD required with active Bar membership, CCEP, CCEP-I and/or CRCM preferred -Knowledge and experience with privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA / CPRA -Understanding of trade sanctions screening best practices. -Knowledge and experience with FCPA and other anti-bribery and corruption laws -Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision -Ability to multitask and prioritize workload -Has experience and knowledge of best practices -15+ years of broad compliance and ethics experience, DOJ experience preferred. -Demonstrated attention to detail -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Efficient, effective, and well organized -Understand Bloom Energy’s global business operations and advise business leadership on risk mitigation activities under the global compliance and ethics program.
