Tasks

-Consider safety factors when presenting project costs. -Prepare reports on sales performance, forecasts, project status, revenue projections, and market trends. -Meet with clients to provide technical guidance and mechanical system recommendations based on client requirements. -Ensure all necessary contracts and agreements align with the project requirements and are properly executed. -Follow up on post-sales support, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. -Work closely with construction teams to ensure project requirements align with client expectations, while ensuring project deadlines are achieved from initial proposal to the start of construction. -Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to provide input on system design and functionality. -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their construction needs, generating leads through regular in-person office visits, attendance in industry and networking events. -Adhere to all company and project safety regulations. -Collaborate with teams to develop sales plans and strategies to maximize revenue and expand market reach. -Provide clients with accurate estimates, timelines, and cost breakdowns. -Site visits can include climbing ladders, stairs, and steps. -Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure delivery of up-to-date solutions to clients. -Maintain accurate records of client interactions/data, sales records, and project details. -Identify safety factors in project turnover meetings. -Offer solutions to challenges related to construction materials, budgets, and logistics. -Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction in addition to maintaining sales goals and project margins. -Actively seek and identify new clients and business opportunities in the construction industry, ranging from building owners, developers, architects, and general contractors. -Serve as a liaison between the client and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution, utilizing effective communication, trust, and responsiveness throughout a project life cycle. -Prepare and present thorough, detailed, and complete proposals clearly identifying the project scope of work and exclusions.

What You Bring

-Experience with design-build projects. -Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. -Experience with large-scale projects. -Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. -Possess a solid understanding of engineering principles and construction practices. -Demonstrate a deep understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, controls, and related technologies, in addition to construction methods, materials, and project specifications. -Strong presentation and networking skills. -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. -Strong understanding of risk management principles. -Requires travel to project sites and client offices. -Adherence to policies, procedures, and dress code is required to maintain a professional atmosphere. -Knowledge of mechanical systems and building control systems. -Excellent time management. -Excellent organizational skills and time management skills. -Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation. -Frequent use of a computer keyboard and mouse. -Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
