-Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through consultative engagement. -Research potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to support business growth. -Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s brand and services. -Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue and profitability goals. -Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across target markets. -Provide regular updates, reports, and market insights to senior leadership. -Generate leads, qualify prospects, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. -Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to plan and execute targeted initiatives.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Tiello has partnered with a nationally recognized Security Systems Integrator in search of a Business Development Manager to support its expanding operations in Rhode Island. This role is responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented professional with proven sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex negotiations and close deals. A blend of strategic thinking, analytical insight, and creative problem-solving will be key to success in this position. -Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive, positive attitude. -Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. -A sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. -Proven ability to identify opportunities, build client trust, and close deals. -Strong understanding of market research, sales strategy, and negotiation best practices. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). -Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. -Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management. -Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with company capabilities.

Benefits
