Maintenance Tech - Day Shift

Overview

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including welding and electrical tasks

Tasks

-Using MIG and TIG welding tools and techniques to repair and maintain equipment. -Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. -Maintains and troubleshoots frame welders, automated and manual lines (i.e. rollers, belts, motors, and chains), facility equipment such as lighting, air compressor, overhead doors, etc. -Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. -Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation. -Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. -Administers general preventative maintenance duties utilizing the maintenance system. -Detects malfunctions in machinery, diagnoses problems and repairs machinery and equipment.

What You Bring

-Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance. -MIG and TIG welding experience -Solid math and computation skills. -Must have a valid Driver License and pass any required MVR and background checks. -Attention to detail and established procedures, along with being well organized. -Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality, including Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements. -Must actively participate as a member of the team and be willing to maintain high levels of productivity, occasionally sustaining longer working hours when necessary. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED). -Knowledge of electrical/electronic, mechanic, pneumatic systems. -Solid English language, reading and writing skills. -Ability to work independently and safely with limited supervision. -Experience in operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.
